In December 2015 J B Edlington celebrated its 150th Anniversary. The company decided to celebrate this occasion with a small event for family, friends and customers.
At the event a plaque was unveiled to remember three J B Edlington employees who fell during the First World War: Private Joseph Bernard Barnes; Lance Corporal Arthur Weatherall and Frank Marshall.
Peter Bradshaw, WWI historian and author of ‘Gainsborough’s War Story’ undertook research to find photos and more about the three men and their service.
